The College of Marin Women’s Volleyball team battled through a competitive day at the Los Medanos Quad, coming away with a split in two hard-fought matches. 

In their opening contest against Lemoore College, the Mariners edged out a tight first set, 25–23, before the Golden Eagles responded to take control and win the next three sets (25–19, 25–13, 25–14). 

The Mariners bounced back in their second match of the day, sweeping Gavilan College in straight sets. Marin controlled the tempo from the start, cruising to victories of 25–12, 25–20, and 25–13. 

Up Next: The Mariners return home for their season opener on Friday, August 29 at 6:00 PM against Las Positas College.
