College of Marin Volleyball had another competitive season in the Bay Valley Conference. With
a small team of seven players they finished in a tie for fifth place. They were competitive in losses, taking all of the teams above them in the conference to 4 or 5 games.
Their best match of the season was at home versus Solano, where they lost in 5 games, 15-13. They
had four sophomores who were great leaders on and off the court. Diana Patrick, a two year
starting outside hitter was voted first team all-conference. She is second on the Mariner's all-
time list with 361 kills, 4th in digs with 362 and 6th in hitting percentage with a .135 clip. After a
successful two years she will be transferring to Life Pacific University on an athletic scholarship.
Nora Divjak was second team all-conference. She finished the season first in the BVC in digs per
set and 2nd in total digs. She finishes her two years, first on the Marin all-time list with 452 digs.
She is still deciding on where she will be transferring to in the fall. Clarissa Carrillo was the
setter and leader on the court. She is the all-time leader for COM in assists with 517. She will be attending the radiology tech program through Kaiser. Christina Thermidor is an outgoing and aggressive middle hitter. She always kept a positive attitude and contributed greatly with her play at the net. She will be transferring to Walla Walla University in Washington to play basketball.
The lady mariners are looking forward to next season with their three returning Sophomores,
Lexie Shreeve, Lilly Bargioni and Ingrid Pu'u leading the way.
