The College of Marin women’s soccer team earned their first victory of the 2025 season with a 1–0 shutout against Mendocino College on Friday, October 3. 

After a scoreless first half, the Mariners found their breakthrough in the second. Clover Cicoletti scored the game’s only goal, finishing a setup from Yvette Kleinberg to put Marin ahead. The goal marked Cicoletti’s first of the season and proved to be the game-winner. 

Defensively, the Mariners were strong from start to finish. Goalkeeper Jasmina Abu Ghosh recorded four saves to secure the shutout, while defenders Leslie Reyes, Sarah Chatman, Ava Ridley, and Keren Molina helped hold Mendocino to just three shots on goal. 

With the 1–0 win, Marin looks ahead to their next match against Yuba College on Tuesday, October 7th at 4 PM in Ukiah.
