The College of Marin Women’s Soccer team celebrated their first victory of the season with a decisive 3-0 win over Ohlone College on Friday, September 6th. After a challenging start to the season, the Mariners had a full roster and came ready to show their true potential. 

Sophomores Evelyn Melendez and Emmy Bergen, along with freshman Ellie Garcia, each found the back of the net to secure the win. In goal, dual-sport athlete Amber Lincoln made her debut, recording 10 saves to preserve the shutout. 

This victory marks a turning point for the Mariners as they gain momentum heading into the rest of the season.

Up next, the team will travel to Chabot College on Friday, September 13th, looking to build on their success.
