KENTFIELD, Calif. — The College of Marin men's and women's swim teams delivered strong performances at the 23rd Annual Mariner Invite on March 6, 2026, showcasing impressive individual efforts and notable finishes.
Finn Seery led the Mariners with a first-place finish in the Men's 500 Yard Freestyle, touching the wall in 5:46.32. Seery also recorded a speedy 54.68 in the Men's 100 Yard Freestyle, earning him fourth place in the event and the fastest individual time for the Mariners. On the women's side, Gwenyth Brenton placed third in the Women's 400 Yard IM with a time of 6:41.33.
Marlee Ostrom had a strong showing, securing a fourth-place finish in the Women's 200 Yard IM with a time of 3:22.53 and a fifth-place finish in the Women's 100 Yard Backstroke (1:35.12). Mia Trotter was a busy swimmer for the Mariners, competing in the Women's 200 Yard Freestyle, Women's 50 Yard Freestyle, and Women's 100 Yard Freestyle, while the Women's 200 Yard Medley Relay A team earned a fifth-place finish.
