College of Marin men’s basketball cruised to a 93–66 win in a Bay Valley Conference home opener over Napa Valley, using a big first half with dominant rebounding to control the game.
Olivier Borgol led the Mariners with 20 points and 15 rebounds, while Te’Shawn Gamble added 17 points on efficient shooting. K’Hamani Olivacce chipped in 14 points and 5 assists, and Jahmai Jones provided a spark off the bench with 10 points and 4 assists.
Marin shot nearly 48% from the field, pulling down 51 rebounds, almost tying their season high of 52. The Mariners took a 43–34 lead into halftime before pulling away in the second half.
The Mariners will face Los Medanos College in Pittsburg on January 6th at 7:00 PM.
