The College of Marin baseball team has officially closed the book on a standout regular season, capturing the Bay Valley Conference Championship for the first time since 2018 and earning a coveted home postseason berth.
The Mariners finished conference play with an impressive 15–6 record, compiling a 26–13 overall mark heading into the playoffs. Their consistency on both sides of the ball and ability to deliver in key moments defined a championship run that now carries momentum into the postseason.
The conference title was highlighted by major individual honors, as Gilbert Roth was named Bay Valley Conference Player of the Year and Anthony Del Prete earned Pitcher of the Year recognition. Their leadership and production played a central role in Marin’s success throughout the season.

With the regular season complete, the Mariners now turn their focus to the postseason as hosts of the 2026 3C2A NorCal Regional Playoffs. The three-day tournament will take place May 1–3 at the College of Marin Baseball Field in Kentfield.
Marin will open its playoff run on Friday, May 1, at 3:00 PM, facing the loser of the tournament’s opening game. Hosting the regional provides a significant advantage, giving the Mariners the opportunity to compete on their home field with strong community support behind them.
Fans who are unable to attend in person can follow all the action live, as College of Marin Athletics will stream the games via HUDL. Online viewing is available for $30 for a weekend pass or $10 per single game.
