Following a strong regular season that propelled the College of Marin baseball team into the 3C2A NorCal Super Regional Playoffs, nine Mariners have been recognized with 2025 Bay Valley Conference All-Conference Awards, showcasing the depth and talent of the program under head coach Steve Berringer. 

Four Mariners were named to the All-Conference First Team, led by ace Chaz Veley, who anchored the rotation with consistent performances on the mound. Joining him was Sam Schnitzer, who earned First Team honors as a relief pitcher, solidifying the backend of the bullpen throughout conference play. 

Caden Sta Maria, a force at first base both offensively and defensively, and Wyatt Davis, a dynamic outfielder known for his speed, contact hitting, and range in center field, were also selected to the First Team. 

Second Team honors went to two more key contributors: Dante Caiati, whose bat and glove at third base were crucial to the Mariners’ success, and Derek Bartram, who patrolled right field with steady defense and timely hitting. 

In addition to the top honors, three Mariners received Honorable Mention recognition: pitcher David Skaggs, who provided valuable innings on the mound; Adrian Ruiz, a versatile infielder and steady presence in the lineup; and catcher Logan Fiene, who played a pivotal role behind the plate and contributed offensively throughout the season. 

This collection of awards underscores a balanced and talented Marin roster that made waves in the Bay Valley Conference and now has its sights set on a postseason run.
