Mariner of the Year – Olivier Borgol – Men's Basketball  

Olivier Borgol exemplified what it means to be a Mariner through his excellence in the classroom, on the court, and within the campus community. A standout member of the men’s basketball program, Borgol finished the season with 542 points, 368 rebounds — ranking first in the Bay Valley Conference — along with 35 assists and 48 steals. His outstanding performance earned him All-BVC honors while helping lead the Mariners throughout the season. 

Beyond athletics, Borgol maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA while earning his Associate of Arts in Business Administration for Transfer, demonstrating an exceptional commitment to academic success. He also remained actively involved on campus through the UMOJA Learning Community,  reflecting his leadership, engagement, and dedication to the College of Marin community. 

Through his achievements and character, Olivier Borgol truly represents the spirit of the Mariner of the Year award.
