College of Marin's JT Robinson signed a letter of intent with Texas A&M International University on Wednesday. The signing took place with a dozen friends and family as well as teammates and COM Men's Basketball Coach Scott Thom. Texas A&M IU is competes in NCAA Division II Heartland Conference. Robinson will be a Dustdevil in the 2017-2018 season.
The sophomore guard avergaed 14.4 points per game across the season and shot 37.8% from beyond the arc. Robinson was a dominate force in conference play as he averaged 16.1 points per game 6.2 rebounds per game and 4.7 assists per game.
His finest game of the season was against Contra Costa on January 12th where Robinson poured in 35 points on 13-22 shooting from the floor. Against Napa Valley College on January 18th, JT nearly recorded a triple double as he scored 27 points and added nine rebounds and eight assists.
Robinson earned a spot on the Bay Valley All-Conference First Team. He received a full ride scholarship from Texas A&M International University.
