At the end of year Bay Valley Conference meetings, Marin's JT Robinson was named to the All-Conference Team. Nominated by Head Coach Scott Thom, Robinson was one of 12 members of the team.
In his first season at College of Marin, the sophomore guard averaged 14.4 points per game in 23 games of competition, as well as 16.1 points per game in Bay Valley Conference play. On the year he averaged 5.7 rebounds per game, 4.9 assists per game, and 1.5 steals per game.
His highest scoring game of the season came in a 95-78 loss to Contra Costa College on January 12th. In that game Robinson was unstoppable, scoring 35 points on 13 of 22 shooting from the field. He added 10 rebounds and four assists in that game as well. Robinson's best all-around game was against Napa Valley College on January 18th. In Marin's 101-90 home win, JT had 27 points on 11-18 shooting, with nine rebounds, eight assists and two steals.
Coach Scott Thom was effusive in his praise for Robinson, "Coaching JT was definitely a highlight of our season for Coach Rubio and I. He's an amazing young man who is extremely coachable, a good teammate and takes of business in the classroom. One of our goals as a program at College of Marin is for our players to excel in the "3 C's". That's doing their best in the community, in the classroom, and on the court. JT has made us and our program proud this year and we can't wait to see where he continues his student athlete journey."
Robinson has completed his first two years of eligibly and is looking to move on to a four year school to compete next season.
